Maximum power with minimum volume the R5 delivers 5.5 Nm of torque giving you a responsive rewarding and fluid racing experience. Steering is managed through an ultra-high resolution 15-bit motor encoder providing you with incredibly accurate steering and an unlimited steering angle. As well as offering a huge range of functionality the R5 wheelbase is built to last and is reliable throughout even the longest endurance races. The aviation grade aluminium casing is incredibly durable and houses an intelligent temperature control system which keeps all the important components cool and protected. The base and the steering wheel are connected through a military-grade conductive slip ring with a life of 5 million revolutions. This unique patented design feature grants extremely high stability and durability while still allowing for high-speed rotation.
