MSA Skullgard Fas-Trac Natural Tan with Swing-Ratchet Suspension Hard Cap has a convenient smooth crown to render easy and comfortable use of MSA welding equipment with custom imprinting and striping options. It resists radiant heat loads that not exceeding 350 deg F. It comes in a variety of colors and sizes. It comes in either standard 6. 5 – 8″ and large 7 – 8 1/2″ sizes. It can be used in agriculture asbestos abatement chemical construction electric utility hazardous materials mining nuclear oil and gas paper and pulp sand blasting sanding and grinding water/waste water and welding applications. It has limitations when Fas-Trac suspension designed for the vanguard helmet and when used with any other suspension will reduce the energy-absorbing ability of the protective helmet that results in serious personal injury or death. It complies with all applicable requirements for a Type I top impact helmet as outlined in NSI/ISEA Z89.
