The MURS Alert transmitter is a revolutionary new trail monitoring system. The MURS Alert transmitter is a PIR sensor that can be mounted on a tree or a post to monitor activity at remote locations. When the MURS Alert detects people vehicles or large animals it will send an alert signal to the transceiver. Up to 4 zones can be monitored simultaneously. The M538-HT receives alert signals from the MURS Alert transmitter and communicates with other MURS transceivers. It has 5 channels and 38 sub channels to help you communicate with other users. It is ideal for people who are out and about such as security guards sales staff and outdoorsmen. The M538-HT is powered by 6 rechargeable batteries included that will last for about 40 hrs per charge. The HT can communicate over distances of several miles varies with local terrain. The FCC also allows you to use MURS without a license.
