Experience the best sensations on the freeride slopes with this pair of boots from Nidecker. The Altai’s comfort and the technology it has been developed with make it easier to make turns. The Nidecker Altai offers a very good comfort and maximum support to the rider thanks to the Boa Mid Power Dual Zone technology. This technology provides a top and bottom adjustment configuration for a perfect fit. The Boa Coiler system makes it easy to put on the boot by pre-winding the TX3 lace. The BFT Gravity 2.0 outsole is made of a full EVA bed that effectively cushions steps and jumps. The rubber toe cap provides a better grip on the board. This is reinforced by the studs which are similar in appearance to the tracks on snow groomers. To support the heels an additional insole made of high-density EVA foam has been added. Another classic EVA foam optimises comfort in the forefoot. The upper is made of a silicone insert that improves traction while the bottom is made of a fleece layer that keeps the feet warm. The Altai’s liner has been completely redesigned. It no longer has pressure points and closes with the tongue inside the shell making it easier to get in and out of the liner. It has Velcro tabs on both sides to prevent the tongue from turning. The toe area has been developed with the Custom Flex system to keep the toes free of movement. The 8 mm PE foam reinforces the outsides.
