The AF-S VR Micro Nikkor 105 mm/2.8G IF-ED makes the benefits of image stabilization VR available for macro photography for the first time. When used with 35mm or digital cameras it offers high resolution and best optical imaging performance. The lens is equipped with the latest image stabilization technology VR II which allows for camera shake-free shooting from the hand with up to 4 light value levels longer exposure times after Nikon tests. The Silent-Wave Motor SWM in conjunction with the Internal Focusing IF ensures fast precise autofocus and enables fast convenient switching between automatic and manual focusing. The imaging performance is enhanced by an extra-low dispersion ED glass lens for particularly low chromatic aberration and a nanocrystalline coating for significantly reduced reflexes. The result is absolutely brilliant detailed images.
