Its design and look were inspired by the helmet visors of fighter pilots and it has an unrivalled field of vision. With a medium fit the XM has a smaller profile and will fit smaller faces than the Flight Deck. When you put these goggles on there almost no frame intrusion and thanks to Oakleys HDO – High Definition Optics – the clarity of what you see exceptional. With Oakleys sub frame lens attachment that works a bit like a ziplock bag changing lenses has never been easier. The frame has a channel running around the outside and the lens has a lip on it. These match up and the lens clips into the frame with ease.Another great feature of the Flight Deck XM that the lens provides the rigidity of the goggle. This has allowed Oakley to use their patented O Matter material on the frame. This incredibly flexible material doesnt deform under temperature change meaning that these goggles stay comfortable even in the coldest of temperatures.
