The new Ovation M Class MIPS helmet brings the protection of MIPS technology into an affordable accessible helmet. Safety shouldnt have to be unaffordable. Featuring a polycarbonate and Advanced ABS composite outer shell that is injection molded. Lined with an anti-microbial liner and stainless steel mesh. Lightweight comfortable and breathable. This helmet features added large front ventilation and top vented center stripe as well as 2 back side vents. Fitted with a comfort pad harness with a synthetic suede lining and hook loop adjustments. For enhanced protection from brain injuries this helmet features Multi-directional Impact Protection System aka MIPS. MIPS is designed to add protection against rotational motion transmitted to the brain from angled impacts to the head. Rotational motion is a combination of rotational energy and rotational forces from angular acceleration that both increase the risk for brain injuries. MIPS added protection has been independently proven to reduce rotational motion by redirecting energies and forces that would otherwise be transmitted to the brain.
