For best results install with two screws into two wood studs. For stability and resonance control the backplate and frame assembly must be mounted to wall studs masonry brick/concrete thick wood paneling or other strong wall surfaces. Note: For drywall mounting the shelf is rated up to 40 lb. installed with a minimum of two supplied screws into wood studs plus at least two additional drywall anchors also supplied. For best results install with two screws into two wood studs.
