The Pro Traxion is an accessory from Petzl.This is a progress-capture pulley designed to install the rope when the Pro Traxion is attached to the anchor. It is characterised by its large diameter sheave. This makes the performance of the system very high making it particularly appropriate for hauling heavy loads on “big walls”. In addition the flange is locked under load to prevent it from opening during use.

  • Triple-action opening of the moving side plate is quick and easy even with gloves.
  • The rope may be installed in the PRO TRAXION pulley when the pulley is connected to the anchor.
  • Swivel and auxiliary attachment point allow the use of carabiners ropes or slings for easier rigging.
  • When the cam is locked in a raised position it allows the PRO TRAXION to be used as a simple pulley.
