Cinturato Gravel Hard Terrain is the specific tire for gravel use designed for compact terrains and the hardest surfaces. The tread features low and close blocks and a high property to conform to the ground giving high contact surface and therefore excellent driving feeling. The special compound SpeedGRIP Compound adds characteristics of mechanical resistance and chemical grip without reducing smoothness. Cinturato Gravel Hard Terrain is a performing clincher with unique grip characteristics in all conditions both on dry and wet surfaces as well as a high level of puncture protection. The Cinturato Gravel Hard Terrain tread is composed of base and close-together blocks and a compound that guarantees grip high conformability to the ground and wear resistance at the same time. The height of the blocks is reduced to increase smoothness and limit deformation when cornering on terrains that do not allow penetration guaranteeing excellent handling and a great sense of safety both on dry and wet surfaces. The properties of the new SpeedGRIP Compound compound have been developed for all weather conditions regardless of whether the soil is dry or wet. The new compound shares with the specific mountain bike compound – SmartGRIP Compound – the same polymer matrix that improves its smoothness. Cinturato Gravel Hard Terrain uses a reinforced internal structure combining a layer of protective fabric that goes from heel to heel to a tubeless-ready Aramid structure optimized for modern wide rims. In addition to a very high level of puncture protection Cinturato Gravel offers new levels of smoothness and grip giving life to a reliable and performing product exactly what made Pirelli’s Cinturato trademark famous.
