Cinturato Gravel Mixed Terrain is the specific tire for gravel use designed for mixed terrains with a variable base between compact and inconsistent and all intermediate types. The tread is made with blocks of medium height and spacing to ensure excellent performance on a wide range of terrains. The special compound SpeedGRIP Compound adds characteristics of mechanical resistance and chemical grip without reducing smoothness. Cinturato Gravel Mixed Terrain is a performing clincher with unique grip characteristics in all conditions both on dry and wet surfaces as well as a high level of puncture protection. The Cinturato Gravel Mixed Terrain tread is composed of blocks whose spacing and height have been studied in combination with the mechanical and physical characteristics of the compound to offer uncompromising performance in variable conditions between compact and inconsistent terrains. The addition of specific ribs helps to support the blocks by limiting their deformation and to facilitate the discharge of excess mud in wet conditions. The properties of the new SpeedGRIP Compound compound have been developed for all weather conditions regardless of whether the soil is dry or wet. The new compound shares with the specific mountain bike compound – SmartGRIP Compound – the same polymer matrix that improves its smoothness. Cinturato Gravel Mixed Terrain uses a reinforced internal structure combining a layer of protective fabric that goes from heel to heel to a tubeless-ready Aramid structure optimized for modern wide rims.
