With the Caballero Chinese Dragon Deck the Californian cult company Powell-Peralta presents the re-issue of a true classic. This board is a re-issue of one of the most stylish Steve Caballero pro models from the 80s. Today both Caballero and artist Vernon Courtlandt Johnson a. k. a. VCJ who created the graphic are considered living legends. The design of the board is an almost exact replication of the original Caballero Chinese Dragon Deck also including details such as the dragon graphic on the top of the board! However not only the design but also the shape of this replica corresponds to the original board from the 80s as it features the typical wide kicktail and the spoon nose that provide outstanding riding abilities. This dream-deck is manufactured in Powell-Peralta’s own skateboard factory in the USA and consists of 7 plies of US hard rock maple. So in contrast to many other skateboard companies that receive their boards from Chinese manufacturers this deck is 100% made in the USA! Despite all the old-school features a convenient adjustment to modern standards was made with the truck holes that allow you to mount any common truck to the Powell-Peralta Caballero Chinese Dragon Deck – apart from that this replica is unsurpassed when it comes to authenticity!
