Heavy duty welded wire hay feeder that is hot-dip galvanized. Single sided. Small openings on sides prevent adult sheep/goats from pulling out more hay than they can chew so there is less waste. Holes on bottom of hay feeder allow lambs/kids to eat with mom. Metal feeders unlike plastic ones will not crack fade or deteriorate over time and are not easily knocked around by larger ewes. Horizontal rods measure 3/16″; vertical rods measure 5/16″ and top rods and hooks measure 3/8″. Feeder measures 18″ – 21.5″W and 6.5″ – 10.5″ D and 18″ H. Size is just right for a flake of hay. Inverted 5″ L-Hooks enable feeder to hang on panels and boards up to 2″ thick.
