The built-in direct drive in the RP-2000 USB MK2 is particularly fail-safe and is characterized by low synchronism fluctuations. In contrast to a belt-driven turntable the RP-2000 USB MK2 transmits the motor power directly to the drive hub – a higher torque thus generates power more quickly on the precision-manufactured die-cast turntable. The pitch section with a range of +/-8 % is also suitable for the finest tempo adjustments. The RP-2000 USB MK2 features a statically balanced S-shaped tonearm with hydraulic lift and anti-skating mechanism. The universal connector for pick-up systems SME can be used to connect a variety of pick-up systems. The turntable offers a high-resolution USB port for direct and easy digitization of your records. Connect your computer to the USB port start the recording software and the recording can begin. A driver installation is not necessary. The integrated phono preamplifier allows the signal output via phono or line so there is no need for grounding. At the same time the improved attack provides a clear haptic feedback. At the push of a button the aluminium needle illumination can be extended and ensures that the needle position is clearly visible even in the dark. The robust construction with optimized damping properties has a vibration-absorbing effect; shock-absorbing feet on the underside of the turntable contribute to further insulation.
