Salomon – Shift Crampon – 120mm

When you are ski touring sometimes the snow is a bit too icy for your skins to grip. In these situations removing your skis altogether and using boot crampons will certainly work but it’s both annoying and time-consuming. Save yourself the hassle and grab a pair of ski crampons! Ski crampons are an accessory for you bindings which give you traction on icy snow without the need to remove your skis. Simply slide them sideways into the binding toe piece and continue on your way. These ski crampons for the Salomon Shift MNC binding come in two sizes 100mm and 120mm. Like the vast majority of ski crampons the stated size represents the widest ski that the crampon will fit. The internal size of the crampons is 3mm wider than the stated width to allow sufficient space for the crampon to straddle the waist of the ski.
