The Selle Italia SP-01 is a lightweight saddle for performance-oriented road cyclists. This saddle has a steel rail 7mm diameter. The rail is made of Ti 316 steel. This is stainless steel but its also 25 percent lighter and 15 percent stronger than conventional steel varieties. The saddles shell is made of nylon with 30 percent carbon. This provides the necessary weight saving without compromising on stability. The SuperFlow technology prevents pressure points around the perineum which is especially important during long cycling trips.
