The Shure BLX4R is a single-channel wireless receiver compatible with the BLX1 bodypack transmitter and BLX2 handheld transmitters. It features a rugged metal chassis and using the included hardware can be rackmounted with the two removable antennas positioned on the front of the rackfor optimal signal reception in A/V installations and sound-reinforcement applications. The BLX4R offers one-touch QuickScan frequency selection to quickly search 123 available frequencies and locate a clean RF channel in case of interference. It also employs microprocessor-controlled diversity technology to reduce dropouts. BLX systems allow up to 12 mic channels to operate simultaneously in each frequency band at a range up to 300′. The LCD display shows group a nd channel settings and allows you to meter audio level and signal strength. An LED indicator even lets you keep an eye on the transmitter’s remaining battery life. The unit offers 1/4″ and XLR connectors with adjustable output level for flexible connectivity to PA systems and mixing boards.
