The Tamron SP 24ndash70mm f2.8 Di VC USD G2 is a versatile lens designed for both wide-angle and portrait photography. This lens fits cameras with the Canon EF mount. It has 17 optical elements in 12 groups. These elements include two extra-refractive elements three low-dispersion elements and four aspherical elements that render sharp images with reduced chromatic aberrations and spherical distortions throughout the zoom range. The eBAND and BBAR coatings applied on the lens prevent ghosting and lens flare. With the USD AF motor the lens quickly autofocuses on a subject without making too much sound. The nine-blade diaphragm provides a rounded bokeh. This lens has 5-stop Vibration Compensation image stabilization that suppresses camera shakes when shooting handheld. The lens has a moisture-resistant body as well as a fluorine coat applied on the front element.nbspYou can connect the lens to an optional TAP-In console to adjust the focus setting and update lens firmware.
