Fix-A-Floor Gallon jug with Syringe applicator is a simple do it yourself repair that is fast easy and affordable not to mention fun and quite rewarding to anyone who can operate a drill caulking gun and mix up a small batch of grout. Works on all sub-floor materials. Just Drill Fill! Directions: 1. Locate loose or hollow problem areas by tapping with wooden dowel or broom handle listeningfor the hollow problem areas. Mark entire perimeter of problem areas with chalk tape or similar. 2. Use a Masonry Drill bit normally 1/8″ 3/16″ or 1/4″ whichever is LARGER that barely fitsbetween the tiles without touching the tiles larger holes make filling with the adhesive easier. Drill 2-4 holes on each side of the tile depending on the size of the tile. Drill STRAIGHT down into the grout lines inside the problem areasdo not contact tiles with drill bit. Once the drill bit clears the grout you will feel it releasemeaning you have reached the void. This is far enough; do not drill into the sub floor! 3. Tapping lightlywith a rubber mallet helps to loosen debris for better results. 4. Remove/Pull plunger out of syringe body and slowly pour the adhesive from the Gallon Jug intothe syringe gently inject Fix-A-Floor into each drilled hole. If one hole proves problematic simplymove on to another nearby hole. Once the adhesive spills up and out of nearby holes this ensurescomplete coverage and filling of the problem area. Tap tiles as you fill any hollow sounds will disappear now sounding solid also ensuing complete coverage.
