Insulated with premium 800-fill Nikwax Hydrophobic down and employing a number of thermally-efficient and comfort-enhancing features the Therm-a-Rest Parsec 20 Degree sleeping bag delivers ultra-lightweight 3-season backpacking performance. The bag is insulated with 800 fill Nikwax Hydrophobic Down. This specially treated down absorbs 90% less water and dries 3 times faster if it does become wet than traditional untreated down insulation. It’s also manufactured without using dangerous PFCs. Recycled nylon ripstop shell and liner fabrics also help to protect against the elements. Additionally the bag has ‘zoned’ construction concentrating insulation on top of the bag so you have warmth where you need it most and saving weight by minimizing insulation on the bottom of the bag where it just tends to get compressed beneath the weight of your body anyway. The bag’s mummy shape also enhances overall thermal efficiency while helping to keep weight to a minimum.
