The Mini Matte Box from Tilta is a lightweight and cost-effective solution for filmmakers using DSLR and mirrorless cameras. With a weight of only 140g this Matte Box is perfect in this area. By using a Matte Box you avoid stray light in the lens you get additional protection for the lens and with the included French Flag you can also minimize unwanted light reflections. Additional 1/4″ and 3/8″ connections on the top of the Matte Box offer the possibility to attach accessories such as small LED lights or microphones. The kit also includes a 15mm rod to attach the Mini Matte Box to a rig for additional lens protection if needed. The Mini Matte Box allows two different types of filters to be attached 4 5.65 standard filters can be inserted on the front. In addition screw-in filters can be attached via the internal thread using the supplied adapter rings. The adapter ring is first attached to the lens and then the Mini Matte Box is in turn attached to the adapter ring. The kit includes the Mini Matte Box a French Flag a 15mm Rod and four lens adapter rings 82mm 77mm 67mm and 72mm. Additional adapter rings in non-standard sizes 52mm 55mm 58mm 62mm 85mm and adapter rings for cine lenses 80mm and 85mm are available separately.
