With this adapter the autofocus of your camera is retained. Thanks to the factor of 0.71x the adapter reduces the focal length of your lens. That way a 50mm lens becomes a 35mm lens for example and you have a larger image angle. In addition the aperture increases by 1 stop which makes the lens brighter. You can take sharper photos in dark conditions. On top of the adapter is a setting button to easily adjust the aperture. You can place this ring on a tripod with the included tripod adapter.
