With the new technology however Vittoria creates a seamless transition between sidewall and tread thus ensuring a unique suppleness unimagined speed but also better puncture resistance. A protective belt under the tread also contributes to this as does a reinforcement at the edge of the tyre which better withstands the high pressure at this point during tubless mounting.
