Their straight body and lack of protruding focus knob facilitate packing and unpacking. Focus is accomplished by a helical collar focus mechanism. Optically their 65mm objective lens and Vortex’s HD Optical System deliver more light more contrast and truer color than previous models. Diamondback HD spotting scopes are waterproof and argon purged for internally fog-free viewing and the external lens surfaces are coated with ArmorTek scratch-resistant and water repellent coating.
